Island Delights: 9 nights in April 2012

See the amazing New Caledonia on this delightful cruise leaving from Sydney. The first port of call comes after 2 sea days and is the capital city of Noumea, where French and native Kanak culture meet and fuse. To take it all in, take a ride on the 'Petit Train.' The second port of call is a new one in P&O's arsenal, the island of Mare off New Caledonia. It is a place of crystal water and limestone cliffs, with a natural inland swimming pools and caves to explore. Next is Lifou, with gorgeous beaches and great opportunities for snorkelling and diving. Before returning to Sydney, the final stop is the Isle of Pines where tall pine trees fringe white sand and crystal water.
